Having a space within your home that functions as an office, even if you don’t need one for work purposes, is very helpful to keep your everyday paperwork and important records properly stored and easy to find. Designating a home office also prevents areas such as your kitchen, living room, or bedroom from collecting and possibly loosing important bills. Office spaces makes sorting and keeping on top of your paperwork much easier.
When you do work from home, the need for a functional and organized office is key to efficiency. For me personally I know that I get very distracted when my surroundings are cluttered or in a disarray, causing my performance to suffer. Transforming a messy, paper cluttered office to an organized one will not only enhance your ability to work better but will make it a much more enjoyable place as well.
